About

History

The pre-school was started in April 1997 by a group of parents and Health Visitors operating from a prefabricated building opening three mornings a week with three staff members. With the growth of the local area our sessions soon increased to ten a week offering both morning and afternoon sessions.

We moved to a purpose built room within the Bluebell Resource Centre opening in 2008, we are open ten sessions a week Monday to Friday with eight members of staff working.

The local area was still expanding with all the local pre-schools full including ourselves, we decided to open another setting in the grounds of one of the local primary schools. In November 2010 our second setting was opened offering ten sessions a week.

With the introduction of the thirty-hour funding we looked at ways to incorporate this, we changed our sessions around so we could offer a lunch club to be able to offer our parents full day care. In both our settings we offer both the 15 hour and 30 hour funded sessions.

We pride ourselves on providing:

  • 1 Homelike Environment
  • 2 Quality Educators
  • 3 Safety and Security
  • 4 Play to Learn
